Quinn's home....it's so wonderful to have your whole family home again. For just a few days it was 'Heaven on Earth'. I forgot how wonderful it is. I forgot how handsome Quinn is. I forgot the sound of his voice. I forgot how much he makes me laugh. I forgot how dry and quick his humor is. I forgot how good he is with little kids and older people. I forgot how much Kenzie and Easton look up to him. I forgot how smart he is. I forgot how many questions he asks. I forgot how much he loves to watch basketball. I forgot how much he loves to play basketball. I forgot how much he loves his phone, but hates to talk on it. I forgot how sensitive he is. I forgot how neat he is.
I have been checking in more than once a day waiting to see this day. I remember you saying in your last post that he only had a week. So happy for you guys.
We just had one of our favorite missionaries leave this morning to go back home and it reminded me of you and how happy this young mans family must be even though it was very sad for us. We had them in our home quite often and felt a bond with them.
I love these young men and the 2 years they give up to devote their time to the Lord. So credible. I pray my boys (and maybe girls) will choose this path.
I hadn't forgotten how funny he was and I hadn't forgotten how handsome he was, but I had forgotten what a good speaker he is. He did such a great job speaking on Sunday. I loved the comparison of traditions. What an effective way to teach us truth. It was just wonderful. What a great man he's become.
What a great talk he gave on Sunday! Yes is is handsome! And good with old people. He was so gracious when we were talking to him on Sunday! What a gem!
Aunt Lori reading that brought tears to my eyes, I don't want to forget and yet to remember all over again what sweet bliss. I think that being a mom is what makes life so wonderful for me.
I love looking at the picture of your grown up five. What amazes me is his spirit is showing threw his eyes and that's just a picture.
Great post for a great young man! I am so sad I missed his homecoming. I plan to hear him in another ward, though. I'm sure the high council is already planning his stake tour!
You cannot do a Google search to gain a testimony. You can't text message faith. You gain a life-changing testimony today the same way it has always been done. It comes through desire, study, prayer, obedience and service.
I am wife of one and mother of five. I consider myself loyal, friendly, busy and hopeful. I love my husband, my children, my friends and my girls....I dream of more time to be a better wife, a better mother, a better neighbor and friend.
