Letting Go of IT

I'm learning to let go of something this month that I have cared about very much for the past five years. I have spent many sleepless hours thinking about IT and all the good times, the bad times, the joy, the memories, the girls. I have loved the spirit of IT, the tradition of IT, and the quality of IT! IT was very hard to walk away from in the first place, but I was sure that things would be okay....they are NOT! One thing I keep telling myself is that IT is not the most important thing, and in the grand scheme of things....IT does not matter soo much. But for now IT does. IT hurts to see the sadness, the pain, the lost dreams and hopes. No one will truly know how much IT meant to me, or how badly I wish things would have gone different with IT. Would of, should of, could of's are sometimes HARD to live with!

Ugh! I hate that! Great post, hope IT will start to be less painful.

I feel about IT the same as you. It's been a painful couple of weeks, learning to just live with it.

There are just too many IT like things to hold on to them all. You are needed with other things now and I am hoping we can all let IT go, for now.

whatever IT is long deep breaths and know that you are loved.

It's a shame and I feel badly for absolutely everyone involved. No one intended for IT to turn out this way.

I just keep hoping to see that things have been resolved and the girls don't pay the price in the end. Not fair...Leon used to remind me often.."who ever told you life was fair". You did absolute miracles with the girls who lives you touched...you are so not done with being the peacemaker, it is woven into the fabric of your heart! Good Luck...and say hi to Danielle!!!

I heard from Amy that IT has gone downhill and disappointing, that is hard, Lori. When a door closes, a window opens, I know it sometimes takes some looking .... though for that new "open" window~

perhaps new vista's are on the horizon?.....
