A few days ago we headed over to Leavenworth with the whole family....It's a little Bavarian getaway about 90 miles from us. Reid and I have been several times but we had never been as a family. It's a beautiful little city especially at night, but Easton had basketball practice and we had to go in the day. We had a delicious weiner lunch with german potato salad and weinkraut. Everyone did love the mustard. (Thanks heavens I'm not from Germany.) I think the most popular thing to do in Leavenworth is drink, unfortunately we do not. We walked around a few of the shops, by far our favorite was the hat store....wait, I take that back, it was the FUDGE store. I don't know if we loved Leavenworth, but we loved being together as a family....

I like Leavenworth, just because it is close and different and the family can do goofy things when then get there. Yes those hats are goofy! Happy New Year!

Those pictures are so awesome!! I would go to Leavenworth just to play in the hat store now!!
