The Molahiettes had their second competition of the year on Saturday in Pasco, WA as we continue on our road to state. I've been gone the last two weeks and left them in VERY capable hands. They finished up our competition pom number while I was gone and worked on hip hop and drill. (I'm surprised how much I missed practice---even the early morning ones.) The girls took two first places for drill and hip hop and got third in Pom. (We're trying to be gracious losers but were not real good at it, since it hasn't happened very often.) It's hard to have an opinion that counts for much since I wasn't there to see any of the performances, but this is what I've learned in my years of competing, when you've been on top, its hard to stay there, and you are held to a higher standard than your competition. I'm very proud of their accomplishments and we have now qualified for districts in all three categories. Watch out!! (Thanks to Julia Reis for the fabulous pictures!!!)
You cannot do a Google search to gain a testimony. You can't text message faith. You gain a life-changing testimony today the same way it has always been done. It comes through desire, study, prayer, obedience and service.
I am wife of one and mother of five. I consider myself loyal, friendly, busy and hopeful. I love my husband, my children, my friends and my girls....I dream of more time to be a better wife, a better mother, a better neighbor and friend.
