Fauxhawk....really?

Easton and Mackenzie
Easton and Bryce

So Easton, our 13 year old, came home from school a couple of days ago and said he had won 'Best Hair' for the yearbook. Really? I started to laugh and completely thought he was kidding. He's been wearing this funny 'Fauxhawk' that I've been making fun of for a couple of weeks. The first time he wore it I thought it must be spirit day or something, but then he wore it again. I asked a couple of girls his age at the football game about it....they all nodded in agreement, 'yes it's cool, and they liked it', they all sorta giggled and said he looked cute. I knew then, the hairstyle was not going away. I guess that shows what I know...

Lori, love your blog! Austin has worn the Fauxhawk a couple of times as well. However, he can't seem to wear it to school, ha ha!

Aunt Lori, I to dont understand the fauxhawk Mason however asks the girl that cuts his hair to cut it into the fauxhawk way, and he's only a 6th grader. Thank goodness I still have Kobe, but it's just hair I guess.

Hey, at least he wants to DO something with his hair. I can think of a few who never touched their hair the entire high school experience! You know who I'm talking about...
